First (New!) Car off the Earth

Today, the MBTA tested the first of their new subway cars during the early morning. According to Railroad.net, testing had been ongoing for a few weeks during off-peak hours, and while the subway was closed. At 12:22 P.M., this correspondent spotted these new cars for the first time on the Blue Line.

These new cars were placed into revenue service on February 20th, 2008, in a special ceremony held at Aquarium Station.
