From the News Desk...

On September 23, Purita Ramos, the mother of the late Robert Ramos, passed away after a brief illness in Dasmariñas, Cavite. She was 67 years old. She was buried in Makati, Metro Manila, in the family grave where her husband and two other sons were buried. She was born in Samar, and moved to Manila as a teenager. It was there she met her future husband, Catalino Ramos. She lived in Pandacan for over 40 years in the same house near the Zamora Market before moving to Cavite. She leaves 3 daughters, 1 son, and 4 grandchildren, and a son-in-law who will not soon forget her generosity.
